Feel free to jump to post #11

In the track pane to the right of PRV that lists the names of the tracks...if I don't have them pulled out all the way the name for that track disappears and doesn't truncate like it used to.
Is there a setting for this somewhere so that I can see just the first few letters instead of all letter disappearing?
Thanks very much,
Randy

So is it not doing this to you guys...I'm using a different display now so I'm wondering if it has nothing to do with X2?

Must be a bug because it's working here. Reducing the size truncates the name with ... after it to indicate that there's more to the name.

Maybe I'm not understanding you here Scott...you're saying it does truncate as expected for you?
I think that means it's not a bug and has something to do with my display monitor (I'm temporarily using a 32" 1280x720 while my 25" 1920x1080 is being repaired).
I guess I'll find out at the end of the week when I get my usual display back as I can't find anything in the menu of this other monstrosity that refers to this setting.
Thanks guys,
Randy

Right... it IS truncating for me. For example, 4: Percussion becomes 4: Perc... when I make the pane smaller. It's not doing that for you? I wouldn't think the size of the display would matter.

I wouldn't think size matters either ...at least that's what my wife tells me (sorry I couldn't resist).
Later I tried different resolutions (all the way up to 1920x1080 even though 1280x 720 is recommended on this dinosaur) with no change.
Oh well, hopefully it will truncate with my old display.
Thanks very much my friends,
Randy

Yes, it's truncating properly here Randy, no bug as far as I can see
