Thank you Mister Jim.

I had looked at the presonus but overlooked the adat bit.

Mainly because I was thinking the adat had to be part of a pci interface.

And not "needing" all the mic inputs.

It should play nice with the faderport.

The motu is nice too.

Amazing all that stuff can travel through one usb port.

Time to start shopping.

Sounds good for the cash though. Many VS shoot test on Gearslutz.

It might be the best piece of gear they've made.

Yeah!
The things Behringer produced in early 90ths is high end quality component, transformers same type of quality components used in API, SSL and Manley products today. Products like vintage Ultrafex II EX3100 etc assembled in Germany. Those vintage high end products you can't even find as discontinued products on Behringer website. Today Behringer products are made with cheap component from china made and assembled in Asia etc. Not the same thing. Don't take me for bashing on Behringer, its still very good value for the money you spend but its not Manley, SSL, SPL.

On the Gearslutz the did many blind test on ADA8000 Vs Lynx Aurora VS Apogee and other..
I was really surprised how good ADA8000 did sound. I can still hear the difference on the more expensive converters VS ADA8000 but still for the money, its just amazing great product. Sounds solid and clear!

Here some test...there are many more..
