This reminded me of The Neverending Story. You have a good melody here that really drives the tune. I'm with Tom on bringing the drums and bass up. As you say, the mix could be greatly improved, but we all have old mixes that are like this... :)

Never ending story, the song by Limahl?
The mix is really bad. Maybe I will soon fix this. I have a problem with the project file which is probably just that outputs are sort of wrong I think. I made this tune with onboard audio and now I have external audio as default or maybe I deleted the realtek drivers. Anyway I played it briefly and it sounded bad. But probably there is an easy fix. When I return home for good i will improve it. Thanks for commenting.

Yup, you've got the composition with some nice chord changes and melodies.   This seems worthwhile redoing with a fresh set of ears.

Yep, that's the one... No matter what you may think of Limahl, the movie theme was really quite the ear worm. As it happens, it was written by Giorgio Moroder...
