Question confronting me is when is enough finally enough.

May be a lone wolf on this, but is there anyone else out there that has hit the saturation point?

John

Good post John.  I have reached the same point and and it's rare that I will even take up freebie offers. I have also read many, many similar comments on Gearslutz. It does have potential ramifications for software developers. Can't imagine that I'll ever buy another software compressor.

As we olders trend inevitably towards the "saturation point", the plug-in developers will find new markets - like cigarettes, dev's will start marketing to children.

Get ready for Joe Camel phat.

Maybe this is a worthwhile metric: how many plug-ins or gewgaws did you buy last year?

And, how many finished songs did you crank out?

It would be nice if they were in equal measure, at least. That's about where I'm at.

And Bapu must have finished about 800 songs?

cheers,
-Tom

Here is a great tip:
Just try as hard as possible to avoid the deals forum.

That's the first one I go to. I could care less about Sonar possibly having stability issues. Something wrong there.

There is no saturation point when it comes to "I have too much stuff" posts.
