X1 to X3 (producer) do templates work?

I am going to upgrade from X1 Producer to X3 Producer. Will my X1 templates work in X3?

I need to add that my templates are for simple stuff, all audio tracks for acoustic music.

I never tried to open an X1 templet with X3, but I think for sure you can. But once you do open it, before you start adding anything, save it as a templet in X3.

I am assuming your talking about a project templet.

It worked fine for me. Just depends what is in your template I guess.... But any features that arent in X3 that are in X1 (Breverb, Rmix, V-Vocal) will remain on your system if you have them in your template (or indeed FX Chains)

So, you shouldnt have any issues.

Do not uninstall any previous version of Sonar.

they'll work but if a new module is not there, or something has changed you will get the "...plug in is missing"
my templates from earlier versions have worked but ive found my habits change as versions get higher..X1...X2..X3
as does my templates and creating new ones.
