I've had a couple of very simple projects go sideways in X3e.
Crash just getting them opened and start playback, jump to a marker, first move crash.
I rolled back to an image BEFORE X3 was installed.
In X2 I load them in "safe mode" and this shows up:
I haven't loaded GroovePlayer into any project.
I answer "No" and save; start again in Safe mode, and BOOM there it is again.
I started a "new" project, totally blank, save; re-open in safe no GroovePlayer.
What gives?
