The suspense is killing me...

I know, right? Maybe I should status every five minutes for my followers ... ;-) LOL! 

It's driving me crazy to have this new DAW just sitting there ... 
On the up side, it's working flawlessly generating family video DVDs for XMAS presents, something else my wife asked me to do. 

Hey, at least she's not complaining about the $2500 I spent on parts, she's very supportive of my hobby. :-) 

Yet another detour ... 

Santa got me a shiny new white 24" multi-touch Sony VAIO that even has a Firewire connection for my Phonic PA mixer. So, I'm setting that up for gigging and trying to come up with a way to mount it to a music stand. If I set it up right I'll be able to track every gig if I want w/o bringing any extra gear while using it for PDF song crib note viewing and controlling all of my DMX LED lights. 
Way cool! But, too many computers to set up! I'll never get it all done in time for my NY Eve gig.  I know, everyone should have such problems ...
