I got a new mic so I thought I'd try it out on both acoustic guitar and vocals.  Here's what I did:

A Behringer C-1 large diapragm condenser mic.  It's pretty much a budget mic for a condenser (it cost me £35) so I was very happy with the sound quality.

This was really good. A great cover.

Beautifully performed and mixed Kevin.......I truly enjoy your work (excellent vocals/harmonies) in re-doing all these  classics.
The only thing I can suggest is the guitar could use a little more 'sparkle' (possibly to bring up the higher frequencies)......it translated slightly dull (if that's the right word) on my H-phones and wanting more sheen.

Hi there, thanks for the comments.  The dullness of the guitar is probably more to do with the fact my guitar could really do with a fresh set of strings!  I will have a play with the mix and see if I can get it to sound better though.

Aha....new strings will definitely make a world of difference......(still would be an interesting experiment to re-mix the guitar).
