  • What I really need is to color-code timeline measure numbers (p.3)

I never use it, but can the Navigator help at all? I don't know how customizable it is.

iirc we have been waiting for ever to be able to change the indicator so that a midi song can actually start at indicated 1:01:000 vs 2:01:000, and after all this time it is still hard to add 8 + 1 ..lol

Colors would be nice, but until then, I just use markers - type M where you want the marker, then enter whatever you want.

I should also add that if you click on the marker name, it selects the space between it and the next marker. Hit Shift-L to loop verses, choruses, etc. really easily.

Andertone, this is how I use it now, but I do not compress the tracks- I like to see each measure up to 1,2,3,4, so 16 measures part is quite long and does not fit on the screen. I was planning the song and wanted to assign the parts to how long my verse, how long is my chorus, and I realized that after marker disappears from the screen, all I hear is a drum track and unless I actively count measures, I would not know what part it is. It would be different if it was color coded. Maschine software sequencer is offering this option.

I would but Sonar if they return Undo/Redo function. In fact- I would but two of it if they have it back.
