PS: I started a support ticket about this problem, but have heard nothing. I suppose I should have written the ticket number down. Stupid me.
Melodyne works well and does some cool things, even though it apparently has a memory leak in the software code (each time you stop and restart more memory is required according to Sonar's little memory doodad). However, v-vocal allows you to do some "repairs" that melodyne does not. Having both tools is the somewhat-best of worlds, although the best of worlds is to have a vocalist that can actually sing on key. Imagine that!!!
