Is there a way to update from Win 8 to 8.1 WITHOUT the graphics update? (it seems to automatically update through the Windows Apps and didn't give an option to save the file/manually update it).

If you go to MS and Windows 8 it will have the files there. I did not update via the update app or the store. I had the updates from another source. Also I'm running the Nvidia 335.23 driver and did not have a problem with the install over writing this driver.

Glad to hear that your problems are resolved. As I stated earlier, my Octa-Capture and VS 100 are working fine, together and separately with Windows 8.1.1
