It's an old bug that goes back to at least SONAR7 that I know of. In my case we were recording synth audio output from several slave machines. In record mode, SONAR wouldn't process any envelopes on midi channels 2-16. We had to move everything to Cubase to finish the project. After that, I installed RME cards in our PC masters and now just do loopback recording.

You are probably not at all interested. But on the extrememly small off chance you are, you might want to give us full steps to reproduce from a new project, and if we can reproduce this, I can put it in the list which will help others understand the issue should they come across it. Plus it will be publicly documented.
