It's great to see people linking to the instruments forum. It was brought up to me that this thread should have been started there, which is probably true...but if posting this thread in X forum inspires people to check out what's happening in the Instruments forum, that's probably a good thing. b rock has indeed posted a bunch of cool tips in there.

I just watched FBB video on Rapture. Really thought is was easy to work with. I'm a guitar player, so I've never programed a synth before. I have an understanding of ASRD. So after watching the video I was getting sounds that was usable somewhat!!

I just really think it's easier to work with that I had originally imagined.

"Titan" is an understatement to me; b rock is always throwing out some of the most amazing things! I always feel bad when he talks about the cool things with Rapture, because it is the one synth I never used other than to check out the interface, but does some very cool stuff.

If I could have only one soft synth, it would be Rapture. Well, maybe Omnisphere...okay, if I could have only two soft synths, they would be Rapture and Omnisphere
