The title says it all. I have a CD of Rex files that I want to audition and I'd rather listen to them in a media player that only knows WAV formats.

Any way to do this?

Why not audition them in sonar's browser, which can also play them back at your tempo of choice?

I thought someone would reply like that!

There are a great many such samples.

I want to play them back in 'MediaMonkey' which allows me to set up a playlist of folders and listen to them in the background over the hours.

As I hear some I like, I will copy them elsewhere for sample usage.

Many folders may be boring to me, some of more interest, but there's a huge number...

It's not that big a deal, just curious.

OK, no reply - I expected that.

I've looked over several promising Google hits, but not found any software (other than expensive ones) that would do this.

There are a few MAC sites and some obsolete sites and some expensive sites.

Not worth it for the casual stuff I need.

I don't think you are being ignored, it's just been a little quiet on here today.

Thanks, that might do the job.
