One thing stands out is you said Bitbridge shows up in both the 32 bit and the 64 bit versions. That is not supposed to happen. Bitbridge is only used in the 64 bit version.

Never mind - I just posted some inadvertent nonsense.

good morning everyone. here we are again. this is what I've done so far today.
1. I removed all plugins from toontrack ezdrummer, superior drum, ezmix
2. I removed all of sonar X-2 including 32 and 64bit
3. installed the first disk of X-2, the 32bit. then when that was done x-2 opened and I get the same runtime error as I did before, it is posted above. I need to click on that error message many times before x-2 opens.
this is nuts, if anyone has any ideas please send them my way.

i'm on the phone waiting for a tech at sweetwater music, however I wonder if there is a number at cakewalk where a tech can run my computer remotely??

I just talked to someone at sweetwater and he said cakewalk has a patch for x-2 to fix this, where can I find it?

There is only patch to X2 that I know of (except for the quick fix which is replace by this update) is X2a http://www.cakewalk.com/S...reader.aspx/2007013301 Cakewalk can access your machine if they need to do so.

i'm sorry, but I have run out of ideas, I downloaded the X-2a patch and still get the runtime error in both versions. I called cakewalk in LA and it was a 30 min. wait. I can't tell you how annoyed I am at this. what could possibly be the problem? this sucks

1.  What is the exact error message you are receiving, and if it is different between x32 and x64 Sonar, then please list both error messages.

2.  Is your Windows COMPLETELY up to date on maintenance?

3.  When you removed the prior Sonar install, did you remove the hidden folder data and the registry keys?  In any case I would like to know the EXACT steps you took when you removed the prior install of Sonar.

4.  When you installed Sonar again, did you: a) temporarily disable your antivirus software?, b) EXPLICITLY launch the Sonar install process by right-clicking on the install program and clicking on Run As Administrator?
