Well mostly acoustic. This is my first attempt at micing a nylon string with a Rode NT1 (and mixing in a direct track).  Also includes a few ebow tracks.

Nice, the playing on this is top notch.  I like the bass part.  Did you play that?

I think you mic'ed that nylon guitar nicely.

Have you thought about pulling back on the distortlled guitar that come in at :18?

A very nice piece with solid playing.  You don't hear that style around here much anymore.

Then get some Flamenco Dancers and put a little video footage to it.

If I had this bundle I would mess this up, in the Jesse Q style.  I'm serious.
Way to go sir.

also, I saw on your SC page profile that you wanted people to guess your age.  I guess you are 342 years old, or 622, I can't pin it down.

Very skillful player you are, sir. The music is strong with this one.

Sounded like I was in a seedy bar just after 3:00AM.

Just needed the click of dancers on the floor.

Thanks JQS.  My buddy from Mexico played the bass.  I didn't know I had a "guess my age" section on my SC page.  However, I'm all for a "guess my weight" section that gives away prizes.

Thank you Master Kakku!

Oh I've played my fair share of seedy bars.  Thank you sir.

That was really cool...    Very much enjoyed it.    The lead playing was well done, and I really like the arrangement and panning.

Well, I see a lot of new names up here (to me) and it's good.  This very nice. At first the intro guitar seemed too trebly but either I adapted or you changed something.  Nice work!  I love the dead stop ending!

Well conceived, well executed. Really nice playing. The bass comes through a little mid-heavy and bottom-lite, but you don't want a lot of bass here swamping your cool guitar work, so I think that's a good choice.

I was expecting a little drumming on the soundboard . . .  :) dunno if you want that or not!

very cool stuff!

cheers,
-Tom

Excellent! Ebow was a nice touch, I always think that works well with acoustic guitars.

Thanks Pug. For the intro I was actually going for that am radio/1930s-ish tone (no lows and strong in the upper mids) and I was thinking of adding some crackling similar to what you'd hear from playing an old vinyl record...I guess I fell short on that one. LOL
