Hi all, recently I purchased a Roland VS-100 audio interface with Dimension LE and Garritan Pocket Orchestra included; the problem is that I can't choose GPO from the Dimension LE browser even if the GPO files are present in "multisample folder", while I can load GPO audio files if I choose "load multisample" from Dimension LE; it seems to me there are some files missing in: "Programs(x86)/Cakewalk/Dimension le/Programs but maybe I'm doing something wrong. I already written to Cakewalk but still no answer. Need help
PS: I'm using Sonar X3 (basic) in 64 bit mode.
Tks in advance and sorry for my english

You can try to press F5 to refresh the program, when new library is added.

Do report back if it works ?

Albert, tks for your answer but it doesn't work :( (I already tried it before)
Here is what I tried (maybe i'm making some mistakes):
I open Sonar, insert synth (Dimension le), with Dimension LE opened I click on "empty program", the browser opens (no trace of gpo), press F5 many times and still nothing; I checked in Dimension le's folders and I noticed that in "C\programs(x86)\Cakewalk\Dimension le\multisample folder" there are 15 folders (GPO is inside with 659mb space, no number before the folder's name while all the other folders have one), and inside "C\programs(x86)\Cakewalk\Dimension le\programs" folder there are only 10, so I think there are some files (in Dimension le "programs" folder) that are missing and Dimension LE can't load their sounds; I also noticed that only the 10 programs that are present in "C\programs(x86)\Cakewalk\Dimension le\programs" are loaded in Dimension LE browser, so gpo is not the only one with this problem . I tried to uninstall|reinstall the software (production pack) and updated Dimension le to version 1.5 but it doesn't work. I hope you can understand what I wrote

I do not have Dimension LE but it seems strange programs are located in "C:\programs(x86)\Cakewalk\Dimension le\programs". I would have expected to find the programs in "C:\ProgramData\Cakewalk\Dimension LE\programs" (a hidden directory). Dimension LE not being version 1.5 makes me wonder how old the Garritan installer is. In the past programs were placed in the "All Users" directory. Maybe the programs were installed in the wrong location. Search for the "Garritan Pocket Orchestra" folder. If found in elsewhere on the drive move the folder to wherever the programs are located on this installation. Then refresh the program browser with F5. If this does not help, I would suggest contacting Garritan support.

Hi scook and tks for your answer!
I checked what you told me and I found that Dimension LE has 2 folders: one is in C:\ProgramData\Cakewalk\Dimension LE (2,30mb) which content consists of 3 folders: MIDI (empty), Programs (same 10 folders as in C\programs(x86)\Cakewalk\Dimension le\programs) and Sample Pool (content 2 audio files, chime and noise); the main Dimension LE folder is in C\programs(x86)\Cakewalk\Dimension le (820mb content with 5 folders: Documentation, Multisamples, Programs (same content as in  C:\ProgramData\Cakewalk\Dimension LE\programs), Resources and Sample Pool plus 2 .sfz files named DefaultEffects and DefaultRegion; GPO in inside "Multisample" with many other folders.
So first I made a backup of both Dimension LE folders (programdata and programs(x86), then I tried to move their contents from one folder to the other one and viceversa overwritting the files many times, but refreshing with F5 had no result. I don't know which version of Dimension LE was bundled and installed (dvd is labelled "Sonar V-Studio 100 and its PC content is: "Vs Production pack and Sonar VS", year 2009). Surely the version wasn't 1.5 as I noticed that once Dimension LE had no "ACT learn" while after upgrading to 1.5 the ACT has appeared.
Anyway tks again

There was no need to move anything. For whatever reason, there is a redundant program library installed in "Program Files (x86)". As originally described the ProgramData directory sounds correct except for the missing Garritan Pocket Orchestra. Except for the redundant Programs directory, so does the"Program Files (x86)".

Was the GPO a separate install? If so, the Garritan programs may be installed elsewhere.

Hi scook, no GPO isn't a separate install, it is included in the VS production pack dvd (content: Boost11, Channel tools, VX64 vocal strip, NI guitar rig le, Studio instruments suite, Rapture le and Dimension le plus Sonar VS). As some plugins are already included in Sonar X3, I installed only some of them (Channel tools, vx64, guitar rig and Dimension le); and Dimension LE installs automatically GPO (you can't select or desect it during the install). The dvd default install paths are: C:\Program Files (x86)\Cakewalk\VS Production Pack (in its folder there is only the uninstaller), for the vst is C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Vstplugins, then again for Dimension LE Multisamples: C:\Program Files (x86)\Cakewalk\Dimension LE and I let these default paths for everything. Do you think it's better if I  manually delete everything relating to Dimension LE and reinstall changing the default path to C:\ProgramData\Cakewalk\Dimension LE?

PS: in my notebook is running Windows 7 HP 64

No, the description of the Dimension LE directories in your previous post sounded correct except for the duplicate Programs directory. Messing with defaults is not going to make things any better. GPO has been integrated for sometime but i have never seen the bundle you have. I do not know how the programs are organized. Does a windows search for Tuba or English in the Programs directory show anything. If not, then the GPO programs (for whatever reason) were not installed.

Scook, the GPO is already installed, search for Tuba gives as path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Cakewalk\Dimension LE\Multisamples\Garritan Pocket Orchestra\Brass, and for English: C:\Program Files (x86)\Cakewalk\Dimension LE\Multisamples\Garritan Pocket Orchestra\Woodwinds (I choose only one of the many records I got); anyway GPO folder's properties in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Cakewalk\Dimension LE\Multisamples" are: 659 MB (691.411.106 byte) or 662 MB (694.935.552 byte) on hard disk. So GPO is installed but Dimension LE for whatever reason can't load the program in its browser and I don't know why. I think some files in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Cakewalk\Dimension LE\Programs" are missing to Dimension LE (they are less than the ones in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Cakewalk\Dimension LE\Multisamples".

I manually deleted all the folders and files related to Dimension LE, cancelled all the Dimension LE's entries in Windows registry, reboot and reinstall from dvd; Dimension LE is now version 1.2 and there's nothing related to the program in "C:\ProgramData\Cakewalk"; the only existing Dimension LE folder is in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Cakewalk\Dimension LE" (and GPO is always in  "C:\Program Files (x86)\Cakewalk\Dimension LE\Multisamples"); I loaded Sonar and Dimension LE but there's nothing in the program's browser, unuseful trying with F5). Then I updated the program to version 1.5 both in 32 than in 64 bit version and now in "C:\ProgramData\Cakewalk" there is a folder named Dimension LE (with the same content I described before, 3 folders). But also with this version the problem isn't solved.
By the way the ACT learn was also present in version 1.2, I was wrong in one of my previous posts.
