Second of all, great forum!
Thirdly,the plugin,  Channel Tools, on sonar x3, is not working for me. Anybody else having the same problem?? It just does not effect the vocal-increase/decrease ambiance , the 'R and L' indicators on the bottom left are almost invisible , pan , etc ; like it's suppose to do. Funny thing, it is fine on previous installment*X2 & x1 .
 
Any assistance with this, would be greatly appreciated.

Hey CB, thanks for replying. What do you mean by the above?

Just to elaborate on Charlies' post: Make sure the interleave on the track is set to stereo and not mono. Channel tools only works if the track (or interleave on a mono track) is set to stereo.

Gotcha Jimbo21!! Props!!  I've been using Sonar for awhile, but I'm a bit embarrassed,  where is this 'interleave' you are referring to?

On the console view channel strips. It looks like a little circle when it's mono, and two circles when it's stereo.

I think the Channel tool is Cakes best plugin. Hope they do a pro channel version soon. I'm wondering if it should be part of the main Sonar app rather than just a plugin.

I hope so to . However, I don't see that happening. Great plugin.
