Guys i've messing around with a practice project trying different EQs etc.  It's getting a bit messy and i wanted to reset all the tracks back to zero.  I believe cuebase has such a feature.  just wondering if X2 has a "one button reset" feature?  Thanks all.

Just reload it.

Exactly. Hopefully you did a "save as" and re named it -- messing around..

No i overlooked doing a save as so i have nowhere to reload it from.  I can manually rest each track.  no biggie.  I just thought there might be a big red reset button that's all.  cheers.

One way to do it is select all (CTRL-A) then Shift-Drag all of the tracks below the current tracks. This should place all of the clips in new, blank tracks in the same place on the timeline.
Then you have the option of deleting the old now-empty tracks.

Double clicking the track fader will make the track go to 0dB. If you want to get rid of the EQ's, delete them..
Its Non Destructive!!!

Thanks CJ and Oscar.  Yeah i ended up just manually deleting the EQs etc.  I also wanted to start the mix from  scratch as the mater was clipping.  I've dragged all the tracks WAY down to like -18db and it's working out much better starting at a very low db.  It's giving me more overhead if i need to raise a track such as maybe guitar solo etc.

A little tip.

It will make mixing easier if instead of lowering your faders by -18dB, lower the gain/trim at the top of each channel.

This means you can now start mixing with your faders much closer to 0dB where you have much greater fader resolution.

it's not easy to do this after you've added dynamics because you would have to re-visit the threshold/input for each plug

Thanks Bristol.  To be honest i was never sure what the difference was between gain and volume.
They both seem to make things either louder or quieter.   but i'll the gain trick going forward.
