Albert, would it be possible to check this under X3E and let us know? Also check the status if possible under the Cakewalk problem report page.

Appreciated...!

Alex, I missed this post. Thanks for the PM.
Just downloaded patch E and tested. The condition is the same, no change from patch D, and the 'bug' still exists.
Since I've got 2 versions of Sonar X3, the Basic (still at patch D) and Producer (just upgraded to patch E), I run the following test again :
----------
Test 1 :
- create 2 midi tracks.
- select midi track 1 by clicking on the track number (it turns blue).
- then move the mouse to midi track 2 without selecting it, but right click to delete track 2.

At this point, I can see the Delete 2 Track being reported corrected, in both patch D and E. When you proceed to delete, 2 midi tracks are deleted.
----------
Test 2 : (this test is a direct approach of recreating the OP condition)
- create 2 midi tracks.
- record something in track 2.
- move the clip from track 2 to track 1. By doing this action, after moving the clip to track 1, track 1 is being selected automatically (track 1 number turns blue).
- move mouse to midi track 2 without selecting it, but right click to delete track 2.

At this point, the delete track option did not show 'Delete 2 Tracks' - it simply show 'Delete Track'. However, when one proceed to delete, both tracks will be deleted.
And this behavior is the same in Patch D and E. So, there is no update on this.
--------------------
But I must mention, even though in Test 2, if the behavior is corrected in a future patch (Delete option reports to delete 2 tracks..), the expectation from user is still not quite correct. Meaning, even if another track is being selected, but if you move the mouse to a different track and delete it, one will most likely want to delete the current track where the mouse is located - not another track that was previous selected.
However this can always be argued the user really wants to delete 2 tracks - perhaps a warning box of some sort will be prompted just to be sure the action will delete more than one tracks.
