I know I had this working in X3C. I have take lanes with muted clips, but the muted clips are still playing audibly.
 
The clips are grayed out and I even manually unmuted them and remuted them to make sure it was not some sort of a state issue.  
 
Anyone run into this?
 
update, just installed X3C and it is working as expected. I tried to save a smaller project bundle for support. Played in X3C without issue. Reinstalling X3E again and opening that smaller file gets the muted clips working for me again. I then opened the original project I was having an issue with and it now works. <SMH>

I've been doing a lot of clip muting and volume automation this week with X3E, so far I have not run into this in X3E. Is it just one track? Is it MIDI or audio? I assume you SOLO'd it as well (and not other SOLO buttons were on). Cheers...

I have done a lot of midi comping and the take lanes working for me as expected.
 
The only thing I have experienced with the take lanes were the numbering of the takes themselves. The clip names X3 gave them were not the same as the Take Lane they were in.

yeah, solo'd it and that is how I figured it was not working. It is a scratch audio track that I completed in 07/13 and it worked as expected then. That is why I figured it was X3C. I am presuming my dates are right for that patch. :)
 
This is once again, working on a project that was started in a prior patch, but same version. I am reinstalling X3C to confirm one way or another.

Just reinstalled X3C and it is working as expected. X3E broke this function for me.

Maybe this fix had something to do with it:
X3E update readme - Muted clips in Take Lanes are now muted when parent tracks are muted

Uninstalling X3E, installing X3C, playing the project, installing X3E - Now the muted clips work. unbelievable <SMH>.

I'll keep a look out Conley, this is most weird. I'm mixing down a zillion tracks right now so far so good. The projects originated on X3C/D and all got transferred to E.

I have worked on trks in X3 that was started in X2. Works as expected.

In fact, on my alternate PC all my projects were started in X1 or X2 and work fine in X3.
