Just asked a ford dealership if I could get some *competent* service ( JUST SPENT OVER $300 FOR AN OIL CHANGE BASICALLY I.E. THEY DIDN'T FIX THE PROBLEM) the guy says...*we can try, we've been playing the field for awhile*.  This is what I run into here.  Really incompetent people everywhere...lousy service virtually everywhere, reptilian's everywhere.  Thanks for letting me vent! Anyone know a competent mechanic in Portland?

Is shop is actually across the street from a friend's place (who happens to also be in the auto parts industry so he knows the good guys from the useless).
