Hey Craig, I have four Cakewalk t-shirts. I've worn them everywhere: at gigs, visits to Guitar Center, the Experience Music Project, Disneyland, walking around NAMM. I was even wearing a Cakewalk t-shirt the night I got stuck in the Tokyo airport en route to Manila, the longest I've ever worn one shirt. I'm a walking billboard.

So don't you think I've earned a Cakewalk mug?

Not looking for sympathy, but I am sitting here this morning looking at a coffee mug with a picture of Rudolph the Reindeer on it. How pathetic is that?

Cakewalk has coffee mugs?!?

Actually I'm looking at an Audiofanzine mug right now. Better than Rudolph by a long shot, but I need a Cakewalk coffee mug too.

Next time I'm in Boston, I'll sit in a corner and pout until I get an answer.

@bitflipper - I ALSO got stuck in Norita whilst waiting to fly on to Manila.  That is one PACKED airport, back in those circular waiting areas, when 4-5 planes are delayed, and there are a couple of thousand people stuffed into that small space.

I think Cakewalk may address that issue in the next Sonar release.  :)

Craig,

Between the lines, all I can see is empty space? Believe it or not, SONAR has been enough DAW for me for years.  I probably am in the camp of stabilization rather than innovations.

I can record LIVE tracks, load in every VST on the planet, mix and master in SONAR now?  What more can there be?

Thanks,
Jim

Sorry you need to be here at least 10 years to qualify for a mug :-P

Wouldn't you know it, my invitation to Cakewalk headquarters was not in todays mail either.  Hmm...well, there's always Monday.

It will take a while, but you'll find out. The Bakers never cease to amaze me...

Just call the office and make an appointment for a tour. I know I would but it's a bit far from Australia.

Just because the Gibson employee discount hasn't kicked in yet is no reason to take it out on me! Then again I've been writing my Sonar column for Sound on Sound for over 10 years...maybe I could get a Cakewalk paper cup.

The Boston offices are just a front, the R&D all happens at Area 51. Ooops, I've said too much already...
