Anyone out there know how to change the pitch bend range with this instrument?

I have many old files in which I extensively used a pitch bend range of 12 ( initially due to a midi guitar) and I so far have not seen a way to change it in Kontact 4, or Scarbee Pre-Bass

Hi - I literally have the same issue for the same instrument in Kontakt.  I don't have it all figured out yet, but apparently you click on the wrench to open up more editing options, and then there is something about adding a modulator if needed, for pitch bend, and something about adjusting range.

After clicking on the wrench for the instrument, scroll down to the bottom of the instrument, and if you do not see a modulator present for Pitch Bend, click on Add a Modulator, then under External click on Pitch Bend, and it will add that as a modulator.  Then the range can be adjusted - though I am still looking at how to accomplish that part.

At least I seem to be on the right track.  :)

Well, I did a bunch more digging - have more to do, but it may well NOT be possible to adjust this for this particular bass instrument.

Read this whole article for some additional information:

Yeah that wrench is.the edit icon in kontakt... Did you think about editing the bend range your controller sends?

And, I found something by accident.  With the Scarbee Bass fretboard displayed in the multi-rack, at the top of the pick guard is a button with a drop-down labelled 'Perform'.

Click on this, and then click on Controllers, and it will display information and settings for controllers that affect various things about the instrument.

One of these is called Slide, and is apparently assigned to CC#64 - for a pedal, it seems.

So, I am wondering if there is a way to insert midi data for this CC#64, to have it do a pitch bend, and IF that works, perhaps the range can be entered manually or at least maybe with the pedal data.

Anyways, this is all I found so far.

Sorry for all the posts - there is a LOT to wade through.

OK - this may be what you are looking for.

I am using the Scarbee Pre-Bass Amped instrument, from Kontakt 5 for this.

1.  Load the instrument preset into the Kontakt Multi-Rack.  I used preset 'Scarbee Pre-Bass - Amped - Fat.nki'.
2.  Click the wrench icon to get into editing/settings mode.
3.  You should see a gray area appear.  At the upper left of this gray area, look for the word 'Source'.  Just under that it will say Preset (with a drop-down arrow), and just under that, it should say 'Mod'.
4.  Click on that button that is labelled 'Mod', and it should open up the modulators that are in effect for this instrument.  The one I see is set for Pitch Bend.  To the right of where you see 'Pitch Bend' is a slider, and this slider is set to control the RANGE of pitch bends for this instrument.  The default is set to 2 semitones.  Adjust this slider to set the pitch bend range the way you want it.

The above should do it for you.

Please let me know if this works for you, or if you have trouble,
