I've never had this error before in Sonar, but just now when I closed a project, it flashed up. 
 
The funny thing is that if you Google "Teleport Server has stopped working," the first result is a bunch of Sonar related forum posts 
 
I understand that it's Bitbridge related. I'm now using a brand new rig with a fresh install of everything and Windows 8, and I'm not using any 32-bit plugs that I didn't use before (maybe TAL-Bassline and TP Basslane) and I never saw this error on my old Windows 7 system. So I wonder if Windows 8 has anything to do with it?

There are a couple of tweaks which may help, set Bitbridge to run as administrator and XP compatibility mode. If still running the 32bit version of TAL-Bassline, replace it with the 64bit version. FWIW, it may just be an outdated web page but the TONE PROJECTS Basslane only mentions XP, Vista and Win7. The installer is from 2010.

How do I set BitBridge to run as administrator? 
 
Yeah TP Basslane is an old plug, I haven't had any other problems with old plugs and Windows 8 though. 

right click on the bitbridge.exe in "Shared Utilities" and open the properties dialog, click on the compatibility tab
