Hi - I have Dim Pro installed, and recently had a Yamaha midi controller connected that went belly up.
Now, starting Dim Pro in stand-alone mode, I get a message box with the error 'error opening midi device', because Dim Pro used to have that device connected, and it is not there anymore.
When I hit OK to clear the box, Dim Pro will work just fine, UNLESS I go into the MIDI tab to remove the Yamaha device, since it is not there any more.
Once in the midi tab, the Yamaha device is no longer listed, BUT there is a check next to a different midi device, in what most likely is the same position in the list of devices where the Yamaha device used to be.
If I remove the check for that device (which is not one I want to have checked), Dim Pro becomes non-responsive, and I must forcefully terminate it.
Soooooo, I went hunting in my computer for where Dim Pro might maintain that list of available midi devices, within which I would think would be some setting I could manually turn off, or completely reset, so that I could then fire Dim Pro back up and not have this incorrect setting generate the error message any longer.
I searched program files, program data, appdata, and the registry, and cannot seem to find where this list of midi devices is maintained by Dim Pro.
Does anyone know where this might be maintained? Dim Pro must maintain this somewhere, somehow, as it keeps generating the error message every time I launch Dim Pro.
