I was just reading another thread on here about controlling Sonar using an iPad app, but I have a Nexus 7 running Android 4.3. Anyone know of any control apps for that?

Yep, you're looking for the app called TouchDAW.

TouchDAW, within a WIFI network and client soft, its amazing, you can go to your microphone stand or vocal booth and control playback, volume, recording and more from there...

Another plus one for TouchDAW. It's pretty cool and not terribly difficult to set up, there are tutorials on the developer's site. It's not perfect - I wish it were more modular so you could change between more screens with less on them, as the controls are a bit tiny on a 7" screen like I'm using here - maybe I should make some feature requests to the dev - a Big Mixer would be great (say, just sliders and pan knobs), or a Big Transport screen with fewer controls and a bigger jog wheel and maybe a bigger time readout.

But for what it is, for the price you get it for (the free version is fine for testing it out but it's kind of disabled enough to make it not usable for actual work - sliders are randomly disabled, and so on) it's excellent.

twaddle
I just installed this and am struggling a bit.

It's definitely doing something, just not what I'd expected but under midi devices I can now see
the two sessions I created as in the video tutorial that are showing along side my Pod X3 and focusrite Safire
so which ones should I have checked and which ones not, or should I check all of them.
Currently if I hit play or any other button on my android phone it's playing the drums in BFD3 so play doesn't play the song but just like a midi keyboard is playing instrument notes/hits.
