Hey Cian, really nice song and arrangement. Mix is way too mid heavy (2.5hz - 6hz) on my end. 
The bottom end could be a lot fuller. Was this a headphone mix maybe?
You stuff is always fantastic. This one needs a remix I think.

Daryl, Perhaps there is a different reverb/delay on the vox vs the instrumentation, I can touch base with Russ on that. Also maybe there is a delay that is not quite synced with the host bpm.
 
Beagle. Im not sure if having a diverse style is good as an artist however. Handy for a producer role for sure. Vocal and piano are my bread and butter so glad they came through anyway.
 
Rimshot, your spectrum pointers maybe right. Although Im not sure your song references are totally correct as they are more digital dance floor pop. This is a little more organic and classical, thats not to say mixed like those songs it wouldn't sound awesome!

This song really starts for me around 3:00. 
 
I have read all the other comments and just don't have the experience to be technical about the mix with any authority.
 
I do like the fact that you consider it more "organic," and can relate to the diverse style.
 
There is some great musicianship in there though.  Lots of talent.  I'm trying to figure out who all played on this.  I see Mr. Rogers add some comments, as if he mixed it or played on it too.  I'm to new around here to know.

Your comment is as valuable as all the rest, if not more, since you are looking at the song from a customer point of view, which is most important to me. Mixing and production come second to the song in my opinion.
 
I wrote and performed the basic template of this track and got russ (Above) to help produce it. He has added most of the classical orchestration on this and rhythm, plus all mixing etc The project I gave to him was pretty bare compared to this. I love his intro the track that he created that really sets the mood.

Yeah, that was different...   sort of "standard" but still quirky.   I liked it!    I actually thought the length was pretty good for what it contained.    Nice.

I think its standard cos its a pop structure template with some vague generic lyrics, but different cos its pop mixed with latin with a load of varied orchestration! Update mix for those that listening from scratch
