Out of curiosity, I checked it out on iTunes tonight. Not my cup of tea. Some of it reminded me of late 70's Alice Cooper - without the humour, which makes all the difference.
Then I read: "Its musical style is influenced by Steinman's appreciation of
Richard Wagner,

Bruce Springsteenand
The Who."
None of which I particularly like. Actually I can't stand Wagner, so... That explains it.
Looks like I will not be adding any Meat Loaf to my collection any time soon.
In fact, I ended up scanning Uriah Heep records. I've been meaning to get to know better for quite some time... Now
that's more like it!
