TBH, when it was 28-3 I was really disappointed to see a Super Bowl game with such a huge lead/blowout (usually, it's the Patriots winning like that). I almost decided to turn the TV off, but I like sports and wanted to see if the "Brady bunch" had it in them to pull it off.
The momentum slowly started shifting and I was paying close attention to the look in the eyes of the Falcon's players.....a lot of blank stares and lost focus was seen (the wind had been taken out). When it was 28-9, my wife also came to watch (she has no interest in football, but sat and watched). The rest was history....great game!!
Stat:
"Atlanta had a 19-point lead (28-9) heading into the fourth quarter. In the history of the NFL playoffs before Super Bowl 51, 93 teams had a lead of 19 or more points heading into the fourth quarter. Their record was 93-0." Yeah, I wanted to see the Cowboys there, but it just wasn't their time.....hopefully, next year (first they'll have to beat the Giants........they got their number

).
