riojazz,
Yes, a home button would be great but I am finding with regular use, that an undo button would be just as helpful since I can check the 'on stop rewind to now marker' in the track options before I head into the booth or navigate via the V-Window.
But tracking via remote without and undo button is really making a mess of my track lanes and adding WAY to many of them for simple slip ups. And having to navigate to the V-Window every time you want to undo a slip up is just taking forever workflow wise.
How have you gotten around that? And when was the last time you had correspondence with the company?
Sacalait,
Yes, you can switch to the V-Window, then hit 'adjust' then resize the window to expose the top of the toolbar menu, then hit 'done' then navigate to the 'edit' page, then down to the 'undo' choice, then hit 'adjust' again, then resize the window to your previous workspace, then hit 'done' and then continue on but that's a LONG process at the size of the V-Window instead of just hitting one button.
I have to say that I love this app and its the ONLY app I have ever spent anything close to 50 bucks on! But it is head and shoulders above the rest when it comes to both remote navigation through the project via the V-Window as well as a functional control surface. But, for use in a busy production environment where you have to stop in the middle of a take while the singer takes a call from his girlfriend, ect, there are some BIG over-sites to the basic interface and the lack of an 'UNDO' button is clearly one of them.
Especially when you consider that it IS included in many other Skins including Cubase and Pro Tools as well on the right hand side of the mix window.
