Try removing it and see if things improve.

FWIW, Trilogy has never stood out as causing problems, in my setup. Still worth a test I guess.

You seem to have more problems than anyone else, even with operations that are common. I've cloned Sonar tracks with X-series DAWs hundreds of times, even back to the scary X1 beta, and never had a crash. There may be some kind of root cause to all  these problem, and if so, and your time might be better spent trying to find it than constantly fighting Sonar.

Amen!

Yea try removing malwarebytes, It has processes that run in the background that could be causing an issue. Although it as said, would be easier if you were to re-enable the error reporting service to see exactly what is causing the shutdown.

Do either of DPClat or LatMon show any spikes at time of shutdown or just before? Tracing it back to a service or device via those and performance monitor/taskman/services might help.

No crashes today at all. But then, I have not had the volume of work in SONAR I had the other day. Musta been one of those days where stuff just happened.

I am taking the Malware bytes info under consideration. I understood that the background processing is negligible.

Conley - Please please just TRY to temporarily suspend MalwareBytes, AND also try to test with Trilogy REMOVED, to see if things stabilize.

@Conley - if you haven't yet tried the 2 tests I posted above, can you give them a shot and post back?

Thanks,

Bob, I was on for several hours today and no crash issues were encountered. I tried, but things went ok except for the distorted synths after undo.

If I find that SONAR is giving me grief again, I will surely do what you suggested. I appreciate your time.

No problem, Conley - I am happy to try to help you find stability with your system.  I TRULY understand how frustrating things can get.

I DO believe there is a good chance of getting things resolved, if you remain engaged and the forum community does, as well.  :)

Glad you had a good day with everything,

If you haven't tried it yet, It may be worth uninstalling/reinstalling your RME drivers. From X1d-X3e I've only had two sessions where Sonar went on a crash binge. Both times reinstalling my interface driver took care of the problem. Don't know if the driver was corrupted or just the act of reinstalling rebuilds the windows audio streaming stack but it might be worth a try. Good Luck.
