Looks like the real issue is that the Inspector doesn't update until you refresh it by changing tabs/tracks. Both tracks get renamed the first time, but the Inspector doesn't show it immediately.
Definitely a molehill in the grand scheme of things.

Agreed not a massive issue, but the whole way soft synths behave when manipulating it's properties feels half baked overall. Not a great user experience.

Hmmm... I think I'd give it 97.5% baked at least.
There would have to be a
lot
more wrong with the implementation for me to give only half credit. And this issue seems to be more about the Inspector than about synth/track handling.

I give it 75% baked then if we are going into more detail here. Basic features like renaming and ability to select without fiddling around (as fully explained here) are a must, not a "nice to have" from my own perspective. It's not majorly broken though if you put your logic goggles (rather than your reality specs) on so that's the main thing.
