I do have to say the opening rhythm sounds like something I've heard before. Not that means anything but there it is. Maybe it's just a feeling invoked by the nostalgic sound you've created.

Thanks Robert! Yeah, I had that feeling as well, but I couldn't locate anything. I decided "to heck with it" and just continued. By the time I was done, I'm pretty sure it isn't anything that already exists, though the opening still reminds me of something.

As I commented on Soundcloud....sheer brilliance! Everything is as good as it gets.....mix, instrumentation, vibe, performance. Above all, the song simply great! No movie could do it justice.

Hey Dan - an interesting story. A musician friend of mine not related to this forum reposted this on Facebook because he was so impressed with it.
This song came on after he had been listening to the Fizzy Pickle song.
I couldn't believe it when I saw your song pop up in my Facebook feed.
