Great stuff Kevin!  You really stayed true to the Everly Bros. version.  I have always found that difficult to do when covering a song.  Your harmonies are spot on also.  I tried a cover of the Everly Bros. version of Lucille and the high harmonies just about killed me.

Nicely done!!

Obviously you are aiming to replicate the original, and boy have you ever nailed it! Very faithful, well done!

Fantastic performances on this cover of a great tune. A bit too flooded with reverb though. I'd like to hear it outside of the cave sometime.

This was done partially to hide some imperfections with the original audio.  I recorded this trying out some new gear, so the sound was less than optimal as I was just familiarising myself with this stuff.  I intend to do a more full band type cover of the same song, and this will be a little less reverb heavy on the vocal.

Is it you singing both parts? Good work eq:ing if thats the case. It sounds very much like to different voices, though they fit together nicely. Great cover!
Now... wake up little Susie!

Yep, both parts were sung by me.  Many thanks.

Must admit, Wake Up Little Suzie is a song I'd need to learn!

Wow you have a nice voice. I love what you have done. My only comment is that the global reverb on the mix is a bit heavy.

Love it.

lubbly jubbly Kev - no need to screw around with a classic. Vocals sound the biz mate.

very nice work!

I agree I'd like to hear less verb, too.  understand you had a reason for it, but personally I believe it's never too late to rework something if it didn't work right the first 100 times.  after 101, it's time to give up, but the first 100...
