FREE Kontakt Player Update

The long-awaited Kontakt Player edition of Evolution Stratosphere is available now!

As a big THANK YOU for your patience, we've added this new edition (as well as the necessary serial number) to your account entirely free of charge!

Instead of covering the cost to license the Kontakt Player with an upgrade fee, as we did when releasing the Player editions of Evolution Strawberry and Steel Strings, we decided to provide this upgrade entirely free--both in appreciation of your support and also as a holiday gift.

Here's what's new in the Kontakt Player edition:
NKS-Ready. Integrates with Komplete Kontrol hardware such as the S-Series keyboards and Maschine.
Snapshot presets. The library now uses Kontakt 5's snapshot preset feature, which provides a more a robust preset management solution than the old built-in one. We also added a bunch of new factory presets while we were at it.
Tuning tweaks. We did another pass of tune tuning on the samples.
Latest Evolution engine. With this new edition, you also get all the improvements of the latest Evolution engine: new reverb pedals, improved round-robin cycling for better multi-tracking, as well as a few minor bug fixes.
Because the library has been encoded for the Kontakt Player, you'll need to re-download the new engine files as well as the samples. If you wish to be able to access both libraries concurrently, simply install this new version in a separate folder.

Installed and authorised. I don't know if anyone else is seeing this but there is one minor issue with some presets in the Komplete Kontrol preset menu that do not appear in the snapshot menu. These have "missing" samples. They are not missing as such because they are found when Kontakt is pointed at the Stratosphere folders. I have created a support ticket.
 
I am not going to resave the NKI at this stage because the issues probably relates to the Komplet Kontrol presets.

Any reason to keep the previous version?

Got the email as well . . . can someone explain what this upgrade is about ?
I get that there are some new features added, but I don't see the need for a license for "Kontakt Player" , since I have the full version of Kontakt as part of NI Komplete.
 
Is this just so Evolution Stratosphere will show up as a proper Kontakt library, instead of having to browse the folders to launch it all the time ?

And it's NKS compatible.
