This is a very basic thing to do and I would hope most Sonar users have some basic idea how to set things up in Sonar. A video seems to me a little bit of overkill.
 
However if you need some help this forum is more then happy to offer all the help you need. 

Though basic, we do get a bunch of questions like that. It would definitely be helpful if it showed up in a tutorial area somewhere.

As sanderexpander says, we do get questions about how to compensate for record latency, and how to setup SONAR to get the lowest latency for a particular system. These are two significant setup concerns. I think a SONAR specific video addressing these setup concerns will be very helpful for SONAR users. 
 
Then, in the future, whenever these questions are asked, we can point the user to the video material on the subject.
 
Are you gonna make a video for us?  Somebody, anybody, a SONAR X series specific video please. It will save us some writing and possibly be more effective to help some users, as learning through video is for some more helpful than learning through reading.

Its pretty simple and it can be laid out in a few sentences ,so a video is definitely overkill.
 
This is all you need to do:
1.) Make sure you have installed the latest drivers for your OS
2.) Try WDM and ASIO driver modes with different settings to see what works best for your PC. 
3. After you figure out what driver mode to use, adjust the ASIO buffer or WDM slider until that project play perfectly
 
Its only 3 little steps my friend
 
FYI: There are no best settings, as every PC, DAW and audio interface has hundreds of variables, so what works best for one, may not work best for the other.

Your explanation does not tell a user how to setup SONAR for record latency adjustment. That is where a video will be most useful, ol pal.

Latency adjustment?? I never had to do adjust that setting when recording, drums, guitar, vocals, bass, piano, violins, sax, tuba, vocals and a cat meowing (don't ask) and everything is spot on.

I understand CJay. Some of us don't have to make adjustments for record latency. Yet, some of us do,  and record latency adjustment is one of the concerns covered by the video which the OP linked to.
 
Also, some of us have been using SONAR for so long, we tend to not remember to notice that there are detailed steps that have to be taken to get to the settings to make certain changes. Some users can use some direction to get to those areas to make settings changes.
 
How to adjust for record latency adjustment is also a question that gets asks here from time to time, and I think it is a tweak that helps, especially, with MIDI and audio sync.
 
Furthermore, details you did not mention, such as how to get to the settings areas to make the changes you mention (for SONAR newb users,) will not have to be mentioned in writing for the user, as a video will have that covered, as well.  As they say: A picture is worth a thousand words.
