Odd behaviour if you flattern comp twice (CWBRN-22751)

New Project
Add a new soft synth track.
Press record (in comp mode) and loop a part five times
View the take lanes
Comp the parts you want over the take lanes by selecting with comp tool.
On the comp track, right click + Flatten Comp
Tracks are comped
On the comp track, right click + Flatten Comp

EXPECTED
Not sure, probably flatten comp would be greyed out

ACTUAL
The track you right clicked on, the data disappears.
An empty comp track is produced.

<---------------------->

Delete Muted take lanes should be greyed out (CWBRN-22752)

New Project
Add a new soft synth track.
Press record (in comp mode) and loop a part five times
View the take lanes
Comp the parts you want over the take lanes (UPDATE 21 March 2014, you need to flatten the comp afterwards!)
On the comp track, right click + Delete Muted take lanes
Observe all muted take lanes  deleted
On the comp track, right click + Delete Muted take lanes

EXPECTED
Nothing happens, Delete Muted take lanes is greyed out (no muted take lanes to delete)

ACTUAL
Delete Muted take lanes is not greyed out

NOTE
We would get similar behaviour with "Remove empty take lanes" for instance, if no empty take lanes this would be greyed out.

Just for the record... thanks...

I experienced something similar. One take line was grayed out and could only be played in solo mode. I guess this might require an X3e version.
Take care and Merry Christmas!

Well it's extremely trivial issue but nevertheless I believe current behaviour is wrong for both issues
Merry XMAS to you... Cheers...

CWBRN-22751 has been withdrawn as intended by Cakewalk:
"This is by design so that you can comp different sections of the project."

Well as my steps were for the whole project, well I don't understand this at all.
Maybe somebody could explain what I'm not getting here looking at my specific steps, happy to re-examine this.

I don't get your Actual Result of "the data disappears. An empty comp track is produced."

I get a second flattened comp in a new lane above the first. Since the first flattened comp lane was soloed, the new comp is just a copy of the first comp, and the new lane is now the soloed lane.

Based on this, I don't really see a problem.

Just followed my own steps (long since forgotten!) and I got this, the second comp track is empty:

CWBRN-22752 - For the record still open and still an issue in X3E.

CWBRN-22751 - Was closed by Bakers as "intended", and is actually still an issue I hope it is reopened. If there is no comp selected the facility should note be available (greyed out). You can't comp something that does not exist. Much the same way as you can't select a clip menu item when the clip does not exist. If I am in error could this please be explained?

Trivial issues anyway.

Cheers.
