Am I missing something here.  When I have two overlapping stereo take lanes the comp track shows a mono waveform just for the overlap, otherwise it shows stereo.  When I flatten the comp, I see a mono waveform in the comp track and the first take lane is solo'd and the waveform is stereo??  I think it still plays stereo.
 
I think I'm starting to get the new workflow but this one has me confused.
