Cancel is what is recommended according to Cakewalk. Sorry for all the confusion.

so by cancel, does this mean melodyne gets patched?  Here are the release notes and in particular what x3e patch fixes are mentioned for melodyne

Melodyne ARA Integration:
  • Resolved an issue where copying and pasting Melodyne ARA clips would not retain changes made to the original clip (CWBRN-23095, 23145)
  • Resolved an issue where lowering the project tempo of Melodyne ARA clips that were set to “Follow Host Tempo” would not result in the Melodyne clips playing slower
  • Resolved an issue where Melodyne blobs in RegionFX clips were not lining up with the grid at certain tempos

Just check if the version of Melodyne you have installed is 2.1.2 I think.

You can also auto update under Settings->Preferences within the Melodyne interface.
I'm running the editor version, I think the bundled version should be the same?

Cheers...

All the fixes are in SONAR not in melodyne itself so as long as you have the latest melodyne installed you can cancel from its installer.

Glad I read this before I did the update. Sorry, but it WAS confusing to see even after knowing about it.  One would assume you have to click an option to complete the patch.

Also, my VST Scan splash screen went up 1 number after the patch, but went back down to normal upon closing and re-opening Sonar. Not sure what that was about.

I forgot about the previous "recommendations" to select cancel (as there was no reference to it in the installation instructions) but all is well.  I have Editor installed.  I selected the default at the dialog box which was to "Modify".  I just ran through a few quick things and everything seems to be just fine.  Editor is still there and it appears to be the proper version.  Hopefully no one experienced any undesirable results, but for me everything went fine using the Modify selection.  All in all a pretty seamless upgrade patch IMO.
