Keep in mind X3 is supported on Win7 and Win8 (but does run on Vista). It will not run on XP.

Ok !! I have results! The Addictive drums loaded an has a Alesis DM 10 map which has my hihat opening an closing! Which has me smiling ! On the demo I only have HH an snare n kick n one splash! You mentioned running it along side my SI drums ! Do you know how I would go about that at all? Thanks for all the help you have really shed some light on all this for me! Cheers.

Yep, you need to make a custom drum map sending the hi-hats to AD and the rest of the MIDI data to SI-Drums, AD or whatever.

I dug around a little more, Superior Drummer also supports cc hi-hats. BFD Eco is about $29 on the street may be the best low cost solution with cc hi-hats. I am sure BFD3 supports it too.

Bit of fine tuning an I'm ready to get some tunes on the go! Thanks for your help I'll check out that BFD ! Tis great to have the ball rolling at last!
