Anyone know anything about these?  I've been on the fence for a while between the SSL AWS 948 or a Mackie 1202-vlz3.  I like the Mackie because the pre's are supposed to be awesome.

I know a guy whose brother's wife's uncle knows a guy who says the Mackie sounds the same as the SSL.  He proved it in a double-blind A/B/X test. 
 
But I wouldn't mind having the SSL -- I've got a 20-year-old Yamaha mixer here that I don't use much anymore.  Would Sweetwater take that for a straight-up trade?
