Doubt it will be the one to beat. The way preset exchange works with Melda will make it unlikely to ever have the vast array of reverb presets it will need to be useful to the average user. I read the manual and to be honest it seems like way too much work. If it comes with less than 200 high quality, usable presets I suspect it will be yet another super powerful but under used plugin.
I like Melda's MMultiBandConvolution but with no library (commercial or otherwise) of well designed presets I use ReMatrix and its (not free) libraries. Same with a Eastwest/QL Spaces, you can't even make your own with it but the library is worth the cost. I actually think MMBC could be used to make amazing high quality reverb presets but I have no interest in doing that work. This new reverb looks like that with an even more complex algorithm / code layer.
This holiday I've picked up two new reverbs (Waves H-Reverb and Reverberate 2.0) I think I'm all reverbed out at this point.
