I'm not much of a needle fan anyway. I much prefer simulated LCD type digital meters. If they don't show when there is nothing to show it really doesn't make any difference to me. In a way they are emulating digital meters, which is a little ironic. 

If you dont have needles in your meters , then you dont need meters. If you dont have meters , you have more real estate for your Prochannel plugins. And no complaints.

Yes I think it is trivial, and it always was trivial. If people want to blow it all out of proportion so be it.
It was never my issue anyway.
