I'm on X3d right now. I tried to put the browser into the mulit dock and it causes graphic corruption. Here's the steps:

With the browser active tell it to dock in the multi dock - nothing happens
With the browser active undock it and then tell it to dock in the multi dock - The browser is now in the multi dock
Change the browser docking point to the right or left - It moves to the desired location but also leaves browser graphics in the multi dock in an unusable format and any attempt to modify the screen layout at this point results in graphics corruption that spreads.

I've never seen this before and was wondering if anyone else has had this problem.

Try clearing your picture cache and updating your graphics card drivers.
Otherwise please post a screenshot, not sure what "graphics corruption" means... Cheers...

I can confirm that behavior here (all steps).

Yes, I started getting odd behavior at step one! When I finished the above steps I docked it left and it "smeared" the track view too. It keeps leaving artifacts behind.

Edit: Step 1 (dock in multidock) actually split the browser window and inserted a folder tree on the left-hand side. The browser went no place, but "reacted."

Bingo! Sounds like you guys are finding the same issue. The reason I found this was by accident. I had a project from X2 with the browser in the multi dock and when I went to edit I stumbled on this. My drivers are good and I rebuilt the ini file with no improvement.

If a few more people have this issue I'll file a report.

To be honest I didn't try to repro.
From the second step I can repro, clearly the screen isn't being refreshed by Sonar

Is it possible you could report the problem here (give them a link to this web page), and post the problem report number here?

UPDATE (Just read your last post sorry you are clearly on it)...

Seems to be little interest so maybe it's machine related.

In X2a, I get something similar :

1. Dock in multi-dock -> nothing happens.
2. Undock and dock in multi-dock -> creates a tab under the console tab in multi-dock
3. Dock at right or left -> a real mess in several places

You have multiple people confirming with X3D John, one or two extra would be good enough. It's definitely a real Sonar issue and not your machine so I would go ahead and log the issue and let us know the issue number.

Thanks...

Alex

I would recommend just submitting it. It is easy to duplicate, 100% repeatable, and we do not get paid to do "multi-platform, 3-person verification" of issues.
