Cakewalk.....can you PLEASE include a direct download link for updates that can be dragged into "Free Download Manager"...?
I get internet through my phone and every time I try to download a file of any size, my phone drops my connection and browsers do not "resume" downloads like Free Download Manager does.  I have tried both FireFox and Chrome and once the download stops it will not resume.  And...FDM doesn't automatically open with Cakewalk updates like it does on normal downloads.
 
The only way I can download the updates is to use a program that will resume...such as FDM.
 
Scook posted a link for me when X3d update came out....but it should be easy for Cakewalk to just post a direct download link that works with Free Download Manager.

Doesn't right-clicking the link at the bottom of http://www.cakewalk.com/support/kb/reader.aspx/2007013361 give you an option to download with FDM?

Nope...tried that.  But...I did figure out how to get the link.  Got it going now.  Thanks Scook!

Well...I opened up the "downloads" of the browser and copied and pasted the link into FDM.  It started downloading and got 30% done then stopped.  NOW it's asking me for a user name and password.

The issue you are having is that Cakewalks links are embedded within JavaScript.
