Apparently no one here has ever tried singing while suffering a soar throat, head cold or flu.
It's amazing how deep and raspy one's voice gets while under those influenzas influences.
 
Not that I'd advocate ruining one's health just to sound like Kim Carnes... Still it's sad I don't get sick anymore.

Is there a Camel unfiltered plug in anywhere?

Sit in your car and belt AC/DC as loud as you can for a few hours, then record your vocal tracks; you'll get 70 year old Bob Dylan rasp.

My TC Helicon VoiceWorks Plus will do that, but it is a hardware unit.  I don't know of a plug in with that feature.
