I gave up on Lector, I corresponded (very slowly) with their technical support person over a couple weeks and they didn't seem very interested in resolving the issues. They claimed Sonar was at fault and that their code was perfect. The CreateInstance method in their dll's was crashing Sonar and the VST scanner blows up with their plugins in a VST directory.
I've tried both Lector and VocalizerPro, neither of them were satisfactory for basic vocoder sounds like Daft Punk or Zedd. Lector is highly unstable and even when it did work, it was a one sound wonder, the synth is pretty limited. The VocalizerPro was even worse as a vocoder, the built in synth uses spectral synthesis which is even more baffling than FM to understand and there are very few, if any resources available to learn how to use it. At least VocalizerPro doesn't crash Sonar, I might find another use for it one of these days.
The very best vocoder plugin out there is the TAL_Vocoder:
http://kunz.corrupt.ch/products/tal-vocoder and it's free. You can use anything for a carrier: Z3TA, Sylenth, bounced audio, etc so you're not limited by a built in synth. It's really simple to use, just RTFM and you'll be getting lucky in a few minutes. It might be nice to be able to define the number and widths of the vocoder bands, but that's not really a serious limitation, the TAL has enough to get the job done nicely.
If a vendor made something like an enhanced TAL with a few more vocoder features, I'd probably buy it.

Just bought the Lector from Waldorf and I got the same problem!
No presets list using the VST3 version with Sonar X3D.I can load presets only using the "load presets" option from Sonar GUI if i try to "load program" clicking on "file" (near the little "v") and selecting one of the .fxp i got a Sonar crash (SONARPDR.EXE has stopped working).
There's a way to fix that?
Thanx.
