After mastering my tracks in Sonar is it possible to burn a CD direct from the mastered tracks or do I use another programme?

Welcome to the forum!
SONAR can not create track indexes. Export the songs to 44,1 kHz/16 bit and use any burning software.

I use Sony CD Architect for this but sadly, it's been discontinued.

You can still buy a legit copy from a few sources but they are dwindling rapidly.

I use Nero for this.

I never really got on with Nero - CDA is very intuitive to use and comes with a great suite of tools, but like i said, it's becoming more difficult to find it in stock anywhere

Are you sure CDA has been discontinued? Sweetwater still lists it, although it's temporarily out of stock. It's also still on the Sony site.

Dave, I've seen it listed as "Product Discontinued" on at least 3 or different websites. I think the "temporarily out of Stock" might mean permanently. Or maybe it's just Europe/UK that's affected.

For what it's worth, amazon has it in stock up here in ca

Not cheap though, almost as much as an X3P upgrade...

It's now built right into Sound Forge 11.
