Lynn
I just submitted a feature request to CW that may be of use to others.  I asked that they put solo and mute buttons on the Quad EQ flyout window.  I use the track view exclusively, and often when I'm making adjustments to the EQ of a track, I want to solo and unsolo that track as I'm going.  Usually the flyout window covers the track I'm working on so I have to close the EQ window to solo that particular track, and then reopen the EQ to work on it.  I often go back and forth to hear the track in context with the mix, so it occurred to me that having the solo and mute buttons available, like most plug ins, would be a time saver.  At least, the minimize window button would  help.  If this feature would help you, please send in a request to CW to add this in the future.  The link can be found here: http://www.cakewalk.com/Support/FeatureRequest.asp

Good one Lynn...

I'm on my way to do the same. I run into this issue too often!

Yes I agree there's an issue here, my opinion is that it would be better to be able to move the fly out so it does not cover these buttons. Or have it where it hides and pops up when you hover your mouse over the area (as an option). That would resolve the issue. Cheers.
